Stowe used Tange Prestige at times but for the most part used Columbus SL/SLX if I recall correctly.
I agonized over one a few years ago that was out of my 55.5-57.5 comfort range (58.5ish). If I ever found another in my range/price range...I’d be hard pressed to say no.
Cant remember who he cut his teeth with...Serotta? Sachs? Gordon? DiNucci?
