Rider Down Mr Beanz crashes

We rode from Marshall Canyon to Potato Mountain today. We begin at the dirt lot above Marshall Canyon Golf Course.

Beanz is ready, game face and all

After pre-ride interviews, we start our climb in earnest

He almost drops me time and time again. He is really enjoying this. See his smile?

We meet up with another rider along the way. His name is Minor.

Beanz and Minor

Unfortunately, we meet disaster on the way back….

Beanz goes over the bars and crashes.

The guilty rut

Ouch!

Ouch ouch ouch

We limp back from the crash scene.

Healing vibes to Beanz!

Stats: 12.1 miles
Total climb: 1584.8 ft

I'm hoping for a quick heal for Mr Beanz. That looks pretty painful, but I'm glad it's not too serious ( no broken bones, etc ).

How did you get the extreme 3D perspective rendering of your track log in Google Earth like that? Mine always look like Google Maps, with custom gpx data. Is it a matter of getting "close" enough to the ground with the "camera," or something else?

Glad to see you aren't badly hurt, Beanz, old man.

Well, we all hit the ground from time to time. Great battle wound. Remember, wounds heal, chicks dig scars, and glory lasts forever.

Stupid me! I was one handing it intoa trun with teh front brakes. Lesson learned! I flipped over the fornt and hit the shoulder, ouch, pretty sore! Eyemage was kind enough to walk with me for a bit to collect my marbles eventhoug I made him late for work. Felt like I tried to tackle Moterh Earth!

Couple of riders came by as I was still sitting on the ground and asked if I was ok, the works, thanks to them for the concern! I did LAY there for a couple of minutes before getting up, I know the time cause the recorder kept running! Eyemage also loaded my bike into my truck as I couldn't raise my arm for quite some time. Just glad it wasn't a broken c-bone. Couple minutes after I got up, a group of gals come, by, all nurses! i was tempted to lay back down for some extra attention!

Couldn't get my jersey off at the truck and 5 mintues to remove my shoes and a painful drive home. Feeling a little better after a shower but the shoulder is stiff, and it hurts when I laugh!....Ow Ow! ...

I thought about asking Eyemage to remove my jersey for me but figured it would look kind of funny in front of the gals!

Rotate the camera by depressing the shift key and while holding down the mouse button and dragging downwards

I'm sorry, after I saw the In-N-Out shirt you lost me on all the rest. Mmmm...In-N-Out, the one thing Denver is missing.

Oh yeah, and I hope you get better :-) Maybe get the shoulder checked out. I had a nasty pavement crash a couple of years ago. Shoulder was sore for a few weeks. A year later I was playing basketball and my shoulder pops out, turns out I had torn my labrum in the crash and didn't realize it.

I think some of us are taking this "if it doesn't hurt, you're not doing it right!" thing the wrong way.

Glad you are OK.

Are you better so that I can admit that I thought that video was a bit funny?
