Campagnolo Eurus 2-way any body ridden these?
Im in the market for some new rims. I got a guy here locally who has a used pair and is willing to give me a pretty good deal on them. There 2010 version. I just have never known anybody who rode them before. Any body give me a thumbs up or a thumbs down on these that would be great! Thanks a ton

If the rims aren't too worn, get them. Campy wheels are almost invariably excellent, and some generations of the Eurus are actually pretty light.
(Make sure they have the right freehub, although it can probably be changed.)

Campy makes some great wheels, but check the prices for new ones at Ribble before deciding to buy used. There's a big difference in the asking prices from US and UK based sellers. A new pair runs $737 at Ribble.

I have two wheel sets, 2009 edition. Great wheels. Just make sure you get some extra spoke nipples. Not all bike shops carry Campy, and might not have them in stock.

They're good wheels. Laterally stiff and very durable all purpose wheels IMO.
I have a pair from 2009 that I got on sale for less than $800 with bags. In case you ever need it, buy a spoke kit and some extra nipples because no shops usually carry them (only speaking from experience when someone put their pedal through my front wheel and busted a spoke in a race).

I've got a set from before the 2-way fit days and love them. They are not overly light, but they a extremely stiff and durable. I actually met I guy that toured on a pair. He said he got tons of miles out of them before retiring them due to brake pad wear.

Thanks for the info. He wouldnt come down any so I passed on them. 650 for a two year old set of rims seemed like a little much. Appreciate the responses though!

A couple years ago I bought some 2009 Eurus 2-ways on eBay for around $450.00. I'm still enjoying them.

I have them (bought second hand for AUD$450 - bit of a steal) and they are great. Tough, light(enough) and roll really, really well. I've switched mine over to accommodate a SRAM cassette. They are more-or-less the same as Fulcrum Racing Zero's - slight variations in spec from year to year. They make a good second-hand purchase proposition in my view.
