New to fixed gear bikes.
I am wondering if anyone can tell me what this bike is worth. Do not have any details on it other than it is fixed gear.

It is worth whatever scrap metal is selling for these days. Vilanos are not worth anything they are a cheap brand Jeff Bezos sells to suckers. They use really cheap components that are poorly put together on a hi-ten steel frame (or sometimes cheap aluminum as well). If someone is giving it away I would probably still pass but if you are desperate and have some mechanical know-how it is an option.

Vilano is a sub-$200 bike new and yes, they are of very poor quality. However, if you're in a situation where you're on a tight budget, this bike will due (for now). Honestly, I wouldn't offer more the $50 for the bike. The main reason is the quality and you'll likely spend money with constant repairs. If you can wait or if you can afford a higher quality bike (+$500 range), than I would pass on this bike.

@TejanoTrackie: That is a good use for them. I have an old fuji frame I chopped up that I need to build into a stool someday. I had plans to do it and just never got around to it because I never have extra seatposts. Derailleurs, shifters, cogs, and random other stuff like that sure but actual seatposts no. I guess I never save those when I scavenge parts.

I hate that sort of odd seatpost sizing though you got lucky for a stool at least. My Phil Wood frame I was told was 27.2 is 27.0 and friggin Thomson doesn't make a 27.0 in silver.
That cut up Fuji is a 27.2 like many of my other bikes so I never have extra stuff laying about.

they want $125 and say the wheels may need to be replaced. I am going to pass.
