Trek Dual Sport 2 with Upgraded Front S. Fork vs Dual Sport 3
Are the OEM Upgrades on the Dual Sport 3 Which primarily seem to be the Cassette> That much nicer then what comes on the Dual Sport 2 as Stock?
I found a NIB RockShox Paragon Gold RL Suspension fork used but never used for $150.00 . The person who has it decided to get a DS 3 because he liked the Green Color :
From what I can tell the DS2 and DS 3 have teh same Front Fork ???
The price is right , But I don't have much intention to do alot of Trail riding : More like Fire roads : For those who don't know they are mostly just gravel with occasional Dips from Quads and Dirk Bikers using them as a Short cut to the Trails :Fire Trucks Line Trucks etc : They get graded every so often as well. Plus they intersect to one of the Bike trails :
If I remember correctly : The Rockshox can be manually locked out like the OEM's can. I probably will never get into real aggressive Trails : Although in Good shape . I am 64 and not getting younger : I figured whichever Bike I get I would put on a slightly wider tire.
My Wife has a Verve : Would that tire work? Her bike handles fine even in softer sand. As long as it's not real deep.
THANKS
