I just bought a set of U shaped carbon rims. with Continental 4000S II 25mm, the tire width when inflated is about 28.5mm. Consequently, the rear wheel does not fit on my SuperSix Evo. With Xmas coming up, I am looking for another frameset.
Anyone with similar experience? What about the Madone or Tarmac; Will it take 28mm width?

Ah, the Cannondale super-six. Notoriously narrow stays. My Cervelo R5 has room for a 28 on a set of Enve wheels and they are wide. I'm not sure on the Trek or Specialized. My son has a 2014 model Super Six and the Conti 25 with the older Zipp barely fits. I would guess that most newer frame sets have wider stays now that the 25 and 28mm tires are the norm.

I didn't think about the R5 because the 2017 S3 could not take Continental 25mm on Enve wheels.
