I love my stages and have also tried Garmin Vector, numbers where almost exact. I find my smart trainer is off as when running all three it was anywhere from 20-40 watts different. I love the power meter for training rides, way better than HR. That power number keeps you right in the zone. IE my FTP is 300 right now with a max HR of 184. During sweetspot training my HR stays within between 220-255 watts on a normal day which on the low end is way lower compared to where I should be. I have also found the climbs in my area are way easier and funny enough faster if I control it by watching my power. Still a lot to learn and wish I could afford power on every bike.

Mine too. Both of mine are early models too. Got one in 2014 and the other in 2015.
Note I only have them because my HR is super low and not a very good indicator of how intense I am working while riding. I wanted a better idea of how much effort I was exerting

After reading the posts about poor battery life on the Gen 2 models, I was a bit worried. I replaced my first battery last night. It lasted 148 hours. I can live with that.
