Breadcrumbs at the bottom of the page as well?
Can breadcrumbs be added to the bottom of the page in addition to (or, less ideally, instead of) at the top of the page? Since most people read posts from the top of the page to the bottom, it makes sense to have the breadcrumbs at the bottom of the page, just below the last post. Having to scroll to the top of the page to go back to the forum I was in takes energy I could be using cycling. d-: Any chance it could be added to the bottom of the page?

If you look on the right hand side of the screen in the space below the latest post in a thread and above the text box, you will see two buttons- "Forum Suggestions & User Assistance" and "Top".
The first one tells you which forum you are in and if you click it, gives you a drop down menu that will allow you to scroll and navigate to any area that you have permission to use by clicking on the appropriate name, by-passing the need to go back to the main index page.
The second one that says "Top" does exactly that- takes you back to the top of the page you are on and then you can navigate from there.

Thanks for the suggestion, no1mad. It's a helpful alternative. I still think breadcrumbs at the bottom would be better. (; I do appreciate the assistance, though!

Yep, but that is because we are using desktops and laptops. Those using tablets and smartphones typically don't have a Page Up/Home key.

True but tablets and smartphones can usually do a throw scroll and be at the top of the page, and don't get me wrong I'm totally pro breadcrumbs at the bottom just throwing out stuff they can do for now.

Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

We're reviewing this now, by the way. ANytime you make changes to a database, you have to plan for what will potentially break.

Fantastic! They used to have this years ago, and I have missed it ever since.

For iPad, just touch the black bar at the top of the screen and you will be whisked to the top o' the page.
