Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Woo Hoo !!! Ordered my new Bianchi yesterday !!!

I've ridden the same bike for 20 plus years , a Trek Aluminum 200 with Full Dura Ace. I typically get a ton of use out of my gear and I guess the Trek proves that.
I finally pulled the trigger and ordered a Bianchi Infinito CV with Full Dura Ace mech groupset from my lbs yesterday. Because the Celeste color frame I want didn't come with the components , lbs will be assembling the bike . I chose the HED Ardennes CL wheel set for the extra comfort as I am a larger rider. I also upgraded the handlebar to a carbon model as I have read those are more comfortable. I may upgrade the stem and seat post to carbon later , that's to be determined.
I will save the Trek for wet weather use and the trainer , woo hoo ...come on Spring !!!

Yeah, it seems a crime that Bianchi makes bikes in colors other than Celeste, but I guess there are those out there that won't buy anything but a murdered out bike.
