Addiction LXXIX

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I was going to ride this afternoon but while pulling a stake out of the ground something went wrong in my lower back. Hopefully it's just a day or two type thing.

I get another strip and start plugging them in to it and I have 5 plugs for 4 devices. The fifth plug was for the power strip. I had plugged itself into itself.
If it had worked, you'd have solved climate change.

If that's what caused it. It's not directly on the spine as I would have imagined, but here we are.

I aggravated my discs during my tour. Could barely get out of my tent a week ago this past Thursday. Finishing up a week of prednisone. Took this week off from riding. Hoping to avoid a spinal injection despite how much I love propofol.

The bony spine itself is rarely if ever implicated in such events. It’s more that muscle cramps and strains in the area seem to run a particularly prolonged and painful course because of the complex and extreme demands of walking around on one’s hind legs.

Yikes. I don't suspect I'm looking at that. At any rate, I've already got the prednisone covered.

Some French Shower put these in front of mrs datlas’ car tire in the driveway today. I have zero idea who or why. We called the police just so they know, they said no other reports of this as of yet. It is a bit disconcerting.

They never gave me anything other than a little skin anesthetic with those, but they did position the fluoro monitor so that I could see what was hurting like blazes.

So sorry and I hope it gets better soon. When I had that problem, I described it as feeling like my leg was having a ******g baby.
