So I sort of went a little overboard on the "it's the end of the season and I'll scour the ebays for a couple of parts for the bike" theme. I know it's not a Felt Footprint, nor does it come with a beer nutz tool, but I just got everything that I want finished (well not everything, but close) on my commuting/training/only bicycle. Confronted with a choice between riding it and posting pictures on the interwebs I did sort of cop out tonight, but hey. It's cold.
I'm not sure I want to know what Adriano doesn't like about my bike (secretly I do, but only if he doesn't hate it), otherwise I would have posted it in there.
And a drivetrain close up - it's never going to be this clean again...
Let the marmite-like dichotomy of Langster love/hate begin...

OK random person who gave me his very first post. I was actually thinking of getting a couple of carbon cages to be ironic or something. I'll make sure that they are black.
I spent too much time on a mountain bike growing up in the wilds of Britain. It's definitely a personal preference thing. As for the chain, I have a 17 and an 18 on my training wheel (cheap ones - god that white was expensive), so it is maybe a smidgen longer than it needs to be, but its nice to just switch the wheel out without messing with the chain at all.
I think it's about 90% the fact that I spend a lot of time on a stationary trainer during the winter and the range isn't long enough to reach the rear wheel sensor, and 10% that I like to stare at my crotch while riding. Or maybe the other way around.
