Suzue Classica hubs from bicycletricycle (much more active on the Paceline). The rear is spaced at 130mm, but it also came with a 126mm kit.

Several years ago I purchased a grab bag of Campy parts which included these calipers. Note they are the flat release lever which are pre-SPSC.
Not in the best shape.
I did my best to address the rust and corrosion, but the chrome was compromised. They are mounted on the Bianchi as they are the right model for 1971.
I don't currently have a good picture of the result as they are unpleasant to my eye. and not worth taking a picture.

I was cruising the bay when I ran into a nearly NOS looking set at a hard swallowing price. They were less than all the others listed and in far better condition.. I launched with the button.
They arrived yesterday.
The pads are untouched and there is only a slight wear between the caliber armrs on both. Really great looking pair and will go well with the nice-looking chrome head tube and fork crown.

More stuff for the Pacenti. Some Look Keo blade pedals and then a silver Ritchey stem to replace the black one that just does not look right on there. Finished up the bike is coming in under 18.5 lbs.
I really want to do a test ride on this one but I pulled a quad over the weekend on the indoor bike. That's set back the recovery a bit....

@The_Joe - One of the reasons I really like this bike. Chrome lugs, flat crown, and integrated headset. This is one of the last years Bianchi produced them and this one happens to be a Campagnolo internal parts. There iare 30+ ball bearings at each end! Great distribution of force!

The latter. These were also used by Motobécane in the fifties. Which jibes with what I've read about Goëland: their aim was to provide high-end bikes at a reasonable price, which they did by using more affordable parts than, for instance, Herse and Singer.

I got a single pair of these a few months back and have been keeping an eye out for another. I figured I’d probably end up finding a set first and that’s what happened. I love a unique cantilever and these are some of the most dramatic I’ve come across. They don’t pop up often.
If I can find one of the older 60cm Ritchey Breakaway Cross, they’ll have their home. May have to settle for the more recent XL size.

Today I got a few seat posts in the mail. I have plans for two of them and the third one was a back-up for a current build. Smiles, MH
This one claimed to be 26.8 but it had about five different measurements up and down the pillar. If you look closely someone has tried to give it a bit of Aero work at the top. I got out the grinding belts and gave it a uniform size at the bottom So it now is a comfortable fit for the Ochsner. A bit of time on the polishing wheel gave a better finish than the satin I normally do when cleaning rust off the post.
This one came out of the Salt Lake Co-op and as you can see it needs a few parts. Luckily I have almost everything needed to make it complete. I will need to make a half moon for the lower clamp section but should be pretty easy.

The “personal mini Box o’ Crap” of components and wheels from @Mad Honk landed. Also got some consumables for a neighbor’s tune-up, a pair of Gravel Kings, tubes, brake blocks and some chain lube.
Strange build of Super Champion Gentlemans, what appears to be a Shimano Via and a Suntour VX hub, galvanized spokes and a reflector to boot. Maeda freewheel.
Kind of a dog’s breakfast of parts here. I’ll do a superficial clean and file them for some future adventure.

But I suspect you can do something with the parts. Things are very good today as I found my keys with my 45 year old Campy bottle opener on it. I was pretty bummed when it went missing. Next up is the work on the Ochsner build. Smiles, MH

@ascherer, I've heard good things about the Gravel King tires. Also, those Shimano brake levers are very good and durable.

I do hope the indexing works relatively okay for Shimano Z-series derailer. I found out I don't really like friction shifting, I was using the 2x7 as if it was 2x1

The plastic is quite rancid looking. I do hope I can still enjoy it. First try it out without being destructive right away. I do like this kind of plastic, more than cotton tape with shellac.
