Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

Russ does a review. Personally I think it looks great and would go back to 10sp in a hot minute I honestly can't tell the difference from 11 cogs. I agree the chainring/crankset choices are limiting. But it's only a matter of time before Wolftooth starts making drop stop rings for these.

Looks interesting! If the price and availability are there, manufacturers might choose this over the Sora/ FSA hodgepodge so many base models use.

I'm most curious about the upcoming Microshift 11-38t cassette. I recently picked up their 11-48t 10 speed alloy spider cassette on my GRX franken-build (GRX 400 10 speed shifters, GRX 812 RD+10 speed GoatLink) and it shifts surprisingly smooth. 11-38t seems to be the middle ground between an 11-36t and 11-40t cassette and could possibly clear on a GRX RD without derailleur extender.

Path Less Pedal update video about Sword
TLDW it shifts fine and the issue with the crank is because it was preproduction.
