cleaned this up some in a cheap fashion. She rides it at Purdue and beats the **** out of it so whatever.
Cheap fixie wheels. Cut drop bars.
Cinelli tape and a front brake.
Probably do new seat soon.

It's funny...I've had swapped Honda's, 240Z, 510, MK1 Scirocco, multiple air cooled 911's (modified and stock)....I had some of the best times with my simple stock (gutless) NA Miata on coilovers.

Agreed. I had a 91' with just a set of koni's, HR race springs, HD Harddog rollbar and SSR Comps -- By far the best and most fun driving car i've ever owned

Ehh I've driven them, my ex had one. Besides their cheapness, the only thing going for it is its handling and cornering due to its small wheelbase and that's pretty much it. #chickcar
You guys don't know fun until you've had a built STI that just powers through everything because AWD.
Miatas are the new integras.

Those are actually Centerline Autodrags in the pic. I wanted SSR Mk1 for it but came across the centerlines first. Bought a set of MKi that are now just sitting on the shelf because I like the centerlines better

Additionally, some bar tapes even provide less grip in certain conditions. For example, Fizik Microtex is absolutely awful in wet conditions.
