Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I also agree. Seven stepped into the carbon market because there were too many people in custom ti. Seven should stick to titanium.

Long list back then: Merlin, Independent Fabrications, Dean, Lynskey, Litespeed, Serotta, Seven, Moots, Habanero, BD, Zinn. Whole new list now.

Double Barrel Weiner Burger sounds about right.

Mrs datlas and I are going for a movie date. Gonna see the new Alomodóvar film, stars Antonio Banderas. It’s supposed to be very good.

Another fantastic day; another fantastic ride. I need to leave a little earlier in the day to avoid the extremely low sun angle on the westward return. A bicycle becomes invisible in that glare.

Best player on my 4th grade hoops team leaned in, drew the foul, and layed in it. Hit the free throw on a 10 ft rim. Unbelievable for a 10 year old. He's got older brothers and they come to cheer him on.

We got a squad. 28-8.

Longmont, Firestone, Brighton, behind the Airport, Henderson, Northglenn and back home. Lots of construction, but I'm a lot more comfortable on dirt, so it's all good when my detour takes me there. Zone 2, constant pedaling, but it was OK.

Today was the Focus. I've been splitting my time between the November, NP and the Focus, to be honest. Each time I ride each one, I like it the best. I like that.

The movie, “Pain and Glory,” was very good. I highly recommend it. It’s 97% on Rotten Tomatoes too.

Mrs datlas bought a new kitchen gadget that has cycling use. Potentially dangerous.
