Thru Axle for Tacx Vortex
I am hoping to put my '19 Felt VR5 on my Tacx Vortex this winter. From the specs for my bike I should have a: Devox leverless 12 x 142 x 166L Syntace style, thread: M12 x 1.0 x 15L
From the Tacx site https://support.garmin.com/en-CA/?fa...dt27xHWyNmjAy8 I am trying to figure out which thru axle I need to pick up for this setup.
I see a couple of options that are available for 142x12:
- M12x1 metric fine thread (T1707) Suitable for hubs with axle skewer attachment 142×12 mm (various DT Swiss and Shimano types)
- M12x1 metric fine thread (T1711) Suitable for hubs with axle skewer attachment 142×12 mm: DT Swiss RWS axle skewer (conical and flat), Syntace X-12 system (Specialized) and various Shimano types
Are either of these right / how can I confirm which?

For this kind of thing, I just go to the Robert Axle Project axle finder - https://robertaxleproject.com/axle-finder-2/
For you, it's showing this as the right option - https://robertaxleproject.com/produc...tance-trainer/
Looking at the two options that you posted, the T1711 is considerably longer than the other (longer than should be on a road bike, I think) and has some kind of conical spacers, so I'd assume that you'd want the T1707.
...but I'd just do the Robert Axle.
