I'd never heard of it until I did a search and found a Cilo frame for sale on eBay from a seller in Poland. Sure enough, it has a Columbus Nebra decal.

Nice looking fillet brazed frame.

That's as good a guess as any.

Well, it is labeled Cyclex, which puts it in the same chromoly generation as SL, SP, SLX, etc., so the big question is the wall thickness and butting profile. It's most likely standard (not O.S.) diameter.

Alright, it says that the frame weighs in at 2096 grams, so that's 4.6 pounds. it's a 58.5cm frame. Does that give any indication of the butting profile? I guess what I mean is does this seem heavy?

I would not call that heavy for a 59 c-c.

Yeah, the seat tube is 59cm c-c, which roughly translates to 61cm c-t. My 62cm c-t seat tube '87 Paramount frame (SL/SP mix) weighs 5.1 pounds, so I'd say 4.6 isn't too bad...

I was actually trying to find this photo to show for comparison, but I had no luck finding it.

I really love the fillet brazing and fastback seat stay treatment on that frame.

Thanks to everyone for all the information. I am seriously considering picking up this frame. Would the size of this frame be appropriate for someone of my height, 6 foot?

For a six footer, a 59 will range from just a bit on the large side to just right depending on proportions, specifics of the bikes geometry and preferred fit and intended use.

That weight isn't bad.

I used to agree with Ronsonic's statement about sizing for someone 6'. However, I'm 6' and am still trying to get a 99 Allez with a 58 ctc top tube to match the "must have been made for me," feel I experience when I ride my old 57mm Bianchi. With a shorter stem and 0 setback post, I've made it work for me. But, at some point I start to wonder why I'm forcing this frame to fit me. Well, because I love the looks and ride of the frame and I have it. If I had to do it over again though, the next size down would have been the right designed size. The Cilo here has a stated 58.5 TT ctc. Could you get this frame to work for you? Depending on your riding style and experience, probably. The question is, are you looking for the perfect fit, or do you like this frame enough to make it fit you?

That sounds like double-butted steel.

I'm 6 feet tall with a 35.5 inch leg length (long legged side of normal proportions), and my custom Waterford has a 61cm c-t seat tube with 59cm c-c top tube, and fits like a glove. A 59cm c-c seat tube frame with a 58.5cm c-c top tube like the Cilo you're looking at is essentially the same size as my Waterford.

Again thank you for the info. I'm thinking at this point I will hold off just because I have been watching this frame for a long time now as it has been reposted a number of times and each time the price has come down and I'm not 100% sure this is the frame I want. At the same time I'm thinking the price is already reasonable and don't want anyone to snatch it up only to find that it was a great deal I passed on haha.

Will do! It may take a while as I'm still amassing parts and I went with the cheaper (much, much, longer) shipping because I'm doing this build on a budget.

Well. I'm thinking of going with a carbon fork with aluminum steerer as was suggested earlier in this thread. If anyone has any suggestions I'm open to them!
