Stumpjumper HT Comp 29 Deal?
My LBS has about a dozen 08 Stumpjumper HT Comp 29's on closeout for around $1500 and I was wondering if that was a good deal or not? Retail is about $1800 on the bike, but they also have some 09 Fisher X-Calibers for just a little more. The Stumpjumper sounds like a good deal to me but I wanted to see if anyone knows of any issus with that bike. With so many 08's still in stock it makes me wonder.

No. Closeout should be lower. My local shop had 'em for about $1600 normally. These are now TWO years old... the new ones 2010 are only $1850 and, I think, better geometry.
I'd guess you'll be able to get a 2010 for $1650 or so over the winter.
