skiahh is "downeast" for skier. As someone from Maine would pronounce it. I can't even imagine what you were thinking or attempting to imply.
I don't hang out here because of the quality of the posts in general. I moved to Foo because, well, may as well call it what it is. I used to, went to Foo... and guess I just have to remind myself from time to time why I don't hang out in here.

meh. misunderstandings and ass-hattery on both sides of the fence.
i ride with a fair amount of people who are on, and really like their 29er bikes. great for them. great for whatever bike you ride and like. i like my bikes, they like theirs, hopefully you like yours. now everyone give a nice big golf clap.
the backlash from the 26" riders isn't against 29ers, but against some of the attitude that the more...jihadist and jingoistic...kool-aid drinking...pushy 29er types give out. we all know what i'm talking about there.
the ones that state 29" wheels are the best, for every rider, all the time.
yep, they exist. and that sort of statement is just as asinine and stupid as is saying that 29ers suck, if you haven't tried them.
they are just f'ing bikes, people. go ride them.
