Brooks Champion Flyer missing something?

I was hoping someone familiar with brooks saddles could shed some light on this. I recently purchased used a Brooks Champion Flyer on Ebay. I threw out an offer to the seller and they excepted. I really didn't scrutinize the photos closely, and I'm not familiar with the way these look underneath, but when I looked back at the photos later, I noticed that the underside of this saddle looks different than brooks photos I am pulling off the web. For one thing, it has only one pair of rails which seems unusual. The other thing I am puzzled by is the tightening pin area. I see no bolt or pin there. Is something missing? If so, is this a part that I can find easily for sale?

Here is a picture. Any help is appreciated.

Definitely looks like the tensioning bolt is either missing or it has been replaced. I would agree on your rail assessment as well. You can see marks in the leather where it may have rubbed on them.

There's a lot of non-original hardware in that photo!

This is what one of my Champion Flyers looks like...

Yeah, the tension bolt is all wrong, and one of the V-shaped pieces of the frame is missing. There is no way to put tension on the leather, so I'm afraid this saddle will not be ridable.

Bummer. Well it was listed as used but "fully functional", so I suppose I will ask for a return. If they refuse I will have to open a not as described case I suppose.

Now that I understand the design better of the sprung model frames, I can see the lower bracket is missing, and parts of the tensioning mechanism.
