I think it has to do with the clamp diameter, best as I can tell. I found the B135 description here. B132 here.

Just eyeballing the photos on the Nitto site, it appears the 132 sweeps back more than the 135. I have 132s, but no 135s to make a true comparison.

Tops on the 132s bump up more before heading to the drops. They have a tad more reach and ends don't come back as far. See items 4 and 5 here.

I think I like the 132s for the wider tops. Not sure how I feel about the shorter ends. My current bars come back behind the tops a bit like the 135s but I hardly put hands there so I could probably go without that bit.

Those are super awesome, Neal. I'm gonna hand ol' Mr. Heine a pretty penny for some tires. Not sure I'm ready to drop a Benjamin on a handlebar. My LBS will give me a pretty good deal on either the B135 or B132. More importantly, they're only 41cm at the ends. I know 3cm isn't much, but I'm buying these bars for my '73 World Voyageur that already has 41cm alloy randonneur bars.

b135's on my Carlton. I got them because they were the widest rando bar I could find. I just rode them on that century a few weeks ago and I really do think they're great.
I used to own a wide noodle as well and i liked that too, but I'll say that I think you can achieve the same result the noodles bend provides by just running a shorter stem.

fwiw I've been running the b135 x 45cm on my Gran Sport. After nothing but Cinelli bars for decades they took a little getting used to, but I don't think I've been more comfortable on a bike than this current setup, which includes a Brooks Pro at about bar height.

Ok, for those who have the B135 handy, what's the approx width at the hoods? Looking for something at around 42cm at the hoods to put on my A-Frame. (forgive the zombie thread, figured I'd ask here rather than start a new thread... if you dont like it, you can always complain to the admin... oh wait.

I do not have a B135 to measure, but I just measured the hoods on my B132 and they are 37, maybe 37.5mm center-to-center. They measure 44cm at the ends.

I'm no expert, but you might have trouble finding something 42 cm center to center on the hoods. I have some old 70's Grand Bois rando bars set up right now which seem fairly wide to me and my hoods sit at 37 cm center to center. 42 cm center to center on the drops. On the plus side, these bars came on many old Schwinns and should run far less than the $98 discussed earlier. My co-op has stacks of them...
