Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Hey @Velo Vol, don't worry too much about sun exposure. The damage is cumulative but at your advanced age, most of the damage is already done. So don't worry.

You gotta really protect the young-uns.

I will do my best to incorporate this into my posting. Must somehow also ask about whether I should trade them in for crabon fiber based pedals with Ti spindles.

It's not discussed much but if you look at how sun damage occurs, you are much more vulnerable when you are young. Repeated sunburns are especially bad. Modest gradual sun exposure is probably not so bad.

If anything, I worry too little about the sun. I generally don't bother with putting on screen unless I'm going to be in the midday sun for 2+ hours.

Aha! Well I'm not a big fan of direct sun nowadays anyway.

They transferred my fit measurements I took from my Supersix Evo, which oddly has a zero setback post. Weird.

I seem to be suffering from SI pain for the first time in my cycling career. So it goes.

I never used Cortana and haven't used Siri. However, WP's keyboard was better laid-out to avoid typos and handled the correction and prediction far better than Apple's, which is so bad I had to turn it off and just live with my own typos. Even the more of them I make with this keyboard are better than the "help" autocorrect attempts. If everyone had the WP keyboard, the autocorrect fail jokes would be much rarer.

I know you know this; that's for everyone else. And venting.

I wish I still had some XP.

All this XP talk reminds me I should get one of those cheap Win7 refurbs from walmart.com before they're all gone.

Luckily I never had that or Vista.
