Cycling shorts for men that don't...
...how do I put this delicately. Oh the hell with it...that don't turn your johnson inside out? I swear, every pair of padded shorts I've tried does this. And yes, I've tried putting the old boy in numerous positions, yet it always ends up getting squished. Doesn't really hurt, but it sure isn't comfortable. Any other clydes experience this?

Bikes: "Hildy", a Novara Randonee touring bike; a 16-speed Bike Friday Tikit; and a Specialized Stumpjumper frame-based built-up MTB, now serving as the kid-carrier, grocery-getter.

moose1, you're not the only one with this problem. After a while you kinda get used to it. The *ahem* issue is less pronounced with looser shorts.

i've tried! it doesn't stay flipped!
this is true. i have a pair of ancient shorts that aren't quite so bad, but i can't wear them forever.
i've been thinking of just losing the padded shorts altogether and just use regular compression shorts (they seem to not do this so much) and just wear some regular shorts over them.

You could always do like the polish riders in that one pic that was posted and flip it towards the belly button LOL.
I finally got my first pair of cycling shorts and it seems to work pretty well to one side and doesn't make it turtle head

You may LOL over it, but "front and center" is exactly my solution to keep from squishing my junk while riding. Not much else can put a damper on your ride like leaning over into the drops and feeling like somebody just kicked you in the marbles.
