Excellent addition to the thread though...though I don't know the frame numbers yet. Do you know the CS length and HA?
I agree, somewhere around 2 - 2.4 work best for me on trails, still I'd love to try this bike out, though. I think this bike is meant for trails or areas that are less groomed, but where the adventurous person might still want to ride.

Shoot, don't know the numbers. And I was just looking at the Surly 2013 catalog the other day!

Thats the most overbuilt frame I have. That bike verges on unbreakable.

Does anybody own or has anyone ridden a ragley piglet? Interested in another long travel hardtail, have most of the parts, and the price is right. Thoughts?
