For sale 1977 Rossin f+f, size 55 ctc

$new price
$200
shipping prolly around $40-60.

this bike comes with a funny story. I asked the original owner why he sanded the decals off the original paint.

his answer is brilliant……..

” all of my bikes are white, and I either order them without decals, or I sand them off. My wife has no idea how many bikes I actually own.”

* please note. This bike is from my personal collection. I am not a shop.

Ah! Interesting way to obscure the number of bikes one owns. Can we see a close of up the head tube? It looks like there's a lip around both ends.

"NO!" NO! I'll do it now! I'm not tired! ...and besides, Merlot is the section 8 of Viniculture!"

Is the bb shell ok? It looks like it's been slammed and a flattened some.

Its perfectly fine. I removed the BB and used it on a different bike long ago. There are no issues.

Have you ever been married? I can't imagine the wife who would say that. My wife might find something I've stored in the shed for some other reason, but not because she was going to use the lawn mower.

Almost looks like a brush on paint job. Wonder what the color was like? I can see a bit o’ color on the fork steerer, but that might not be it.

Are the forks chrome?

No, nothing weird about these flanges or "lips" being on what look to me like a combo of short-and-long point Bocama (BCM) Professional head lugs (maybe short on top and long on bottom) which is what these lugs came with.
What's weird is a well-known Italian builder using BCM lugs, they were not the French brand most Italians reached for. Not completely unheard of but far less common than say Prugnat lugs (Colnago for example)
