I think this is an '09. '08 had a really similar frame, with...beefier stays, I think?
I think it might ride better with a 140mm though. Really not a great climber with that fork, though it descends great. If my phone's inclinometer is correct, it slackens the headtube angle out to 64 degrees (I think I measured 67 with a goniometer, but I don't have that on hand right now to re-check, so assume somewhere between those two...goniometer is accurate to within like 5 degrees, I think, not sure on phone). I have that one on it because I got it for $75, and I have little bike for climbing anyway. But yeah, it can handle it.

Depends on your terrain as to what works best for you though. 150 is a good compromise. (Sektor / Pike)
If you're pedaling smooth terrain with occasional small drops less than 4 feet, the rigid Identity Rebate with a nice tall headset is magical. If you pedal choppy terrain more than descend, go 140-150. If you're descending quite a bit, monster trucking, freeride...160 all the way!
Alright, alright...mine's a 2005, but your 2008 is the best of them all. Its got my rear triangle and Zephyr's front triangle. So you've got the rifled top tube and internal headset. (not integrated, mind you) But you still have the big "D" shaped stays that are bridged.
This means you can be big and fat but not have frame flex from your rear brake that causes warbling noises from misaligned rotors/calipers from the flex. You can also run any fork steerer you want.
That's the Unicorn frame. Hope to run across a Large one day for myself.

Currently it has a 2012? Marzocchi DJ 1 on it. but for the last couple years I have'nt been able do uphill real well due to a deteriorating knee. So I thought I might put something on it that could do downhill instead.
