Optimistic $800 CAD Price for a POS Norco

Welcome to Vancouver! Where weed is cheap and vintage bicycles cost a premium.

https://vancouver.craigslist.org/van...129438363.html

And only ridden on three occasions!

^^^^^ Overpriced, but quite a nice bike that would fit a lot of small people who would otherwise be discouraged from riding.

Not a mountain bike, but a cheap big box store cruiser
About $30 less brand new at Wally world at full price.

This ad has been up for a few weeks, the guy is counting on the bike shortage to make a killing on a
pile of junk. Until just recently I saw these in a few blow out ads for $74.99 in blue and $100 in chrome online. .
Genesis is part of the fine Kent family of bikes.

This is more of a c&v guy's "I wouldn't uh done that" with the choice of brake lever (and hood).

I only use non-aeros, but know this is wrong.

This would be a pretty cool photo in front of the death mobile there if it at least had a different saddle.

https://seattle.craigslist.org/oly/b...128445273.html

I remember this bike from the previous time it was sold on craigs. The frame was made in New Mexico somewhere. Appropriately painted.

Nice little bike. Cute, quaint, groovy chainguard, etc., but missing hard-to-find parts for the front and rear lights. $200 on a good day when complete, but that run-on description lacking capitalization and punctuation is probably worth a few bucks.

...I've been throwing that stuff away in favor of vinyl electrical tape. I'm kicking myself now, you bet.

Death-mobile? It has those cool fender-mounted turn signal reminders; that makes it safer than any other car on the road at the time.

Ahh, I almost missed it. It has a Cinelli stem and bars, and thus is a Cinelli bike!!!

Interesting bike. But, I think it may have a mild Top tube/downtube bend, and may also have a bent fork.
$100 bike as is?

My advice to you is to start drinking, heavily.

Yeah, I'd forgotten about that car/reference. My post was more of a joke about those little lights the '70s Chryslers used to sport. Another "innovation" that never caught on.
