Man Card certification
What would you need for man card status...
Show understanding of or have actually performed and could perform the following with reasonably acceptable results. Not something that is an extreme one off
1. Back up a trailer with some arc or turning involved.
2. Use JB Weld or equivalent to extend the life of something.
3. Use a hammer
4. Successfully remove a tree stump (through any one or combination of ways)
5. Cut a relatively straight line with a saw (circular/saber).
6. Move or lift something awkward with one or more of the following: a come along/hi lift jack/bottle jack.
7.
Optional things? I feel ropes and knots should be in here somewhere, using an axe/splitting wood maybe?

Fix a flat tire on a vehicle (car, truck, etc). FWIW even females should know how to do this.
Start a campfire
Make a simple lean-to shelter that'll survive a light rain shower.
Clear a clogged drain in your house
Remove and replace a toilet
Solder copper pipe up to 3/4" diameter
Install a faucet or other plumbing fixture
install an electrical socket and an electrical switch in a building (hot, neutral, ground)
Install a light fixture on an existing J-box.
Drive a manual transmission vehicle (amazing how many people I meet who can't do this)
Rebuild a simple gas-powered lawnmower engine.
Make pancakes. Mix up the batter from basic ingredients and cook them 'just right'.

A bar I used to frequent had man cards with various offenses listed, and would punch it for you, like points on your license or your Totin’ Chit

How about a "city" man card and "nature" man card?
One requires "ability to hail a cab" and negotiate with maitre d'; the other, the ability to make a fire and navigate by stars.
Of course, the "Universal" card includes both, as well as the ability to compose a sonnet, and fly fish for and pan fry a trout.

Then there is this Compose a Sonnet thing. I had to look that up as I thought it might require writing sheet music, thankfully no. But, I did learn technical writing back in the day partly because I failed at anything related to the literary arts. Just ask my old Engrish teachers.
