Problem Solvers 2:1 brake cable doubler?

Has anyone used a Problem Solver 2:1 brake cable doubler? This supposedly allows two brake levers to control one brake caliper. Details here:

I'm thinking of combining non-aero drop bar brake levers with a guidon lever:

The purpose would be to get the same functionality as interrupter levers, but on a vintage bike with non-aero brake levers.

I'm sure it'd work, although it'd be a TON of messy housings up front.
