Online Bike Parts
I was looking at the shipping options. I really wanted some parts yesterday, not in 2-3 days. Yet there was no box there to check. Anyone have the same problem?

Universal cycles has a next day air option, but Friday is the best they promise and $35 shipping for brake levers. Most other big online shops have next day options also.
BUT, there are several really good bike shops in Seattle, I'd probably buy in store if in a hurry.

Oh. So many people use "needed it yesterday" to mean asap I didn't get that the setup was meant to imply an actual radio button or drop down selection for a "by yesterday" shipping option.

When it comes to immediate delivery of online orders you have to know the secret code to put into the browser. If you're not a member of the Masons it doesn't surprise me that you don't know this.

There is another issue, it is entirely possible for a company to be located in California, that deals with a bank in New York and ships everything from The UK through logistics.
Logistics means that they ship dozens or hundreds of items each going a different place as a single manifested shipment, so that they only deal with customs and brokerage as a single item, it gets delivered to an in-country carrier who breaks the pallet or container into the individual items for delivery. Of course a brokerage fee of $100, split among hundreds of items becomes cheap enough that it can be buried in the prices. Of course next day air, then comes with a $55 brokerage bill, and $100 for shipping.
