Mostly non scale type victories for me -- faster averages, clothes fitting better, feeling stronger on the bike.

But, I stepped on the scale today and the needle moved down one tick, which pleased me greatly.

Great job!
July has been full of fails as far as I am concerned lol
Didn't/couldn't ride much, low energy, exhausted....I didn't lose weight, but at least, I did not gain any either. Hopefully august will be better, I'm upping my caloric intake and I'll get some time off of work

Yeah, way to go!

July 474 mi
Weight 194 down 1 lb but I do have a shiny new saddle sore

I'm going to cut way back for 2 weeks and see If I can get some energy back and heal up. I've already rode more this year than in any other full calendar year.

Good job!

I broke 500 miles in a month several years ago. That same month I experienced noticeable weight loss. Unfortunately it also seemed that all I did that month was ride my bike, so I've yet to repeat the feat.

Got 357 miles in this month, though.

I am down about 5 lbs and around 300 miles this month. I need a better tracking device other than my phone, but it works for now. Just need to get my butt in gear on my eating plan, total lack of follow through this summer.

Ah... very good. I wasn't nit-picking, or at least I wasn't meaning to. Many people try to out-exercise their poor nutrition. I used to do that all the time and of course I STILL do it here and there.

1st full month of cycling...385 miles, 12 lbs lost. Learning we're definitely a target out there!

Cyclometer for WinPhone works well.

Well I could have been more clear maybe :-). I started the month at 2350 cals and along the way it bumped me down to 2220 cals :-).

I am anviljenkins on MFP. I'm more a total calorie guy than an insane macro balancer.... My body is running on about 10,000 calories a week of my own fat anyway :-). It would like me to eat more carbs.

No you were good. Just what I had in my head. Can't disclaim every little thing just to make a post.

Nope, no need. Ummm....works for me. heh.

Congratulations on the discipline! I hadn't realized how difficult it is to just keep riding, let alone managing intake.

I'm there too! No movement on the scale, but clothes fitting looser and I'm much stronger too!

Congrats

I haven't hit over 200 miles yet in a month. August i should be able to get there but finding the time is pretty tough some days.
