Hmmm, I need a scale to play this game...270 last doc visit, 250 would be a reasonable Jan 1st goal...

(Start) August 1st: 299.8

October 23rd: 256.4
October 26th: 254.0
November 1st: 251.0
November 20th: 244.8
Goal: 210
Had a cheat day, gained about 8lbs in water weight, hopped right back on the wagon and now I'm losing steady again. It's slow, but it's still progress.

I am still bumping along under 200. Generally 196/197. I have survived the office pitch-ins unscathed. However, the first great test is this weekend, with the beginning of the Thanksgiving holiday week and associated family gatherings.

My Jan 1 goal is 250 lbs, I started 2 years ago at 320.
Just got back on the bike in mid September, and had to work 7/12s and 7/13s for the last month and a half.
I try to ride every other day on a 7-8 mile loop.
I am 255 right now, thanks to my fitness pal, and moving much more.

Got on the scale today, after my shower following today's ride and the scale said, "255." Sure, some of it was water weight after my ride, but I hit my stretch goal, one day before thanksgiving.
I'm sort of blown away.
The longer I've stuck to this this year, the less hungry I get. I'm eating much smaller portions, mainly because I'm full earlier. And not working right now has sort of cut out lunch for me. I just had half a peanut butter sandwich for lunch and I'll be good till dinner.
So I'm thinking 250 is possible by January 1. Five pounds over the holiday season would make me very happy.

Well this was a pleasant surprise. Gave up my gym membership after losing my job, but decided to do the monthly subscription to the Sufferfest. I've done three of then so far. They're the real deal.

June 2013: 284 - Had basically been between 280 and 290 for the past several years, when I got serious about it.
Sept 2013: 272
Dec 2013: 260 - Pretty much dropped the first 25-30 through diet alone. Started to exercise seriously in early 2014
March 2014: 245
July 2014: 226 - bought a whole bunch of new clothes this summer!
Nov 1st 2014: 212
closing in on 199 heading to eventual goal of 165

I would like to reach 320 by Jan 1st. Started at 348 earlier this month and weight 332 a couple days ago. Would also like to set a goal of 200 miles a month riding. Including 2 days a week on trainer. Don't know if those miles count

Dude I hope things pick up for you real soon.
As for me the bike is cold and lonely in the garage. Seems we skipped fall and went straight from summer to winter.
I've done almost nowhere weight wise but I feel like I have leaned out slightly. Some decent definition in my legs and shoulders. Still hovering around in the low 260's.
Here's a leg shots from last Sunday, weighing about 262:
Not happy with the way my mid-section looks, but the rest is shaping up not too bad...

Well... i've now surpassed my stretch goal, with a month left to go!!!
I've been really good on this long holiday weekend... no real splurging on all the tempting food and been doing some riding, so i've actually lost 5 pounds since last Wednesday...

So as we enter the final stretch here, with only 2 weeks to go, i thought i would give this thread a bump!
Right now i'm hovering right around 255... so i'm actually well ahead of even my stretch goal! Now, if i can just stick with it through the eating frenzy and vacation time next week!!!
So how is everyone else doing?

My for sure goal was sub 200 by Jan 1 2015, that is accomplished, Stretch Goal was 190.....probably not, might make 195 though :-).
My 7 day average today is 200.1 and that lags a little behind the daily weigh ins :-).

Was 340 last April. Got down to 300 in August. Unable to ride as usual since then has put me at 306 as of this morning. Plan to get back riding during the next two weeks. So my goal for Jan 1st is 300!

A quick update...
Well, I am far from reaching my goals...I'm just getting back from a lower leg injury, which occured two days after I got a gym membership, in late november...if anything I've gained a couple pounds since. My leg is still swollen at times, I still have to keep it horizontal as much as possible, but at least I'm back at work today. The workouts will have to wait a few more days...

Hit 203 this morning - I've already reached my goal of 250 miles ridden this month (plus 3 miles swimming, which I consider to be equal to 30 more miles ridden). I feel like my target of 199 pounds on Jan 1 is close to in the bag if I don't pig out too much over the Holidays.

196.6 This morning. So far I am maintaining my streak. I managed to be pretty good over last weekend - holiday gathering at my folks.

I decided I'm going to pull for that 190 stretch goal, we will see, I got a 196.5 weight in this morning. Waste deposit timing ;-) has been a bit erratic because I added some more fiber to my diet, so that 196.5 was after a walk and a waste deposit, but I have seen the pattern to my loss for over 200 days now, and I think there is hope to see a sub 190 weigh in by 1-1-2015 :-).

I hit under 200 in May of 2013. I've held that since (I hit 200.0 exactly one weigh in; I weigh in daily). Doc's target for me is 195. I am 196.0 this morning.
Jan 1 goal: Under 200
Stretch goal: 195, through the holiday season, would be fantastic.
In other words ... maintaaaaaaain.

Congrats to all those that worked towards their goals! It would have been great to have met or passed whatever you had set but as long as you made positive progress that is at least a small victory!
