I'd like to do that ride. I've been wanting to go to that area to explore for a while.

I'll be at the C&V ride for sure.

Riding and fly fishing in the Spring Valley area this weekend though.

Just picked up a St.Croix 6 weight. 4 piece rod, so it'll travel like a champ.

We'll need to talk fishing during the ride this year! I'm riding my Gazelle and fishing bamboo.

Is everyone ok with the Chilikoot Cafe as the (early) lunch stop again? If not, taking suggestions for a lunch stop in Stillwater.

Our route back will be on the Browns Creek trail this time, so we won't have as many hills after lunch this time.

Every year we seem to have a conflict with the Stockholm art fair (also on the 16th) and my Chief Bicycle Procurer really wants to go. She acquired my Moto le Champion and Miyata 1000 and agreed to my recent 2 week bike tour in Austria so I really don't have much of a case to argue this year

I'll monitor if there are any changes or if another local group ride is suggested since I've really enjoyed riding with and meeting you all on previous rides.

A bump as we're two weeks out.

With our new changes to the site, I can no longer upload the 217k PDF for the cue sheets, so I'll point you to last year's thread that still has them.

Note: Unless someone really wants to do the long return route, we'll take the short route back from Stillwater this year. Will keep an eye on the weather, though within reason this will be a rain or shine sort of event (lightning, or an all day downpour might change my mind about that). Keeping it to a social pace, so the shorter route should be plenty of time.

Next weekend I'll check things out in WBL to see if our final watering hole is the same as last year.

I am looking forward to the ride! I may have to check out early in order to make it to a wedding, but I should be there for the vast majority.

Now, I just have to decide which bike to ride...

Two days out and the weather appears to be cooperating (20% chance of isolated t storms most likely later in the day)

Good morning. Any chance I could get an address for the beach? I believe I know where it's at by looking at Google Maps but want to be sure.

Thanks!

5050 Lake Avenue (aka hy 96)
White Bear Lake MN. 55110

Hope to see you tomorrow

You want to enter by turning right off hy 96. I'd say it is a third to a half mile after turning onto 96 from hy 61.

Thanks you guys.

Sorry I had to cruise early.

I made it back to the car in White Bear by 1 and then off to our son's soccer match.

They won 1-0.

Great to see/meet all of you.

Cool guys and very cool bikes.

Thanks for setting this up and ordering such nice weather.

I had a blast on the ride! It was so much fun to see all the amazing bikes and talk about bikes. I enjoyed it immensely.

Huge thanks to Chrome Molly for organizing and leading us.

I would have liked to have gotten a photo of that Waterford all loaded up, but I was not fast enough. I did get this tall bike.
