Elswick
I have an Elswick bike in green. I don't know if it has any value as a vintage collectable bike. It's in great working order with its original leather seat and 3 gears. Anyone know if there is a place that buy and sell vintage bikes like this

the older bike above (post #8 ) was dated at 1938.
sadly, that's all I can contribute - ignorant of cyclery from that period.

This bike is gorgeous and built with tourist 531 butted tubing. The SA hub will date the bike as it should be original to it. Looks like 1969 but I'm no expert on dating SA hubs so someone else will chime in.
Pricing is hard since most of the posters are in the US and you are in the UK where I imagine bikes like this are not as rare as they might be in the US. Still I'd hazard a guess of a worth north of $300 (or its equivalent in pounds sterling but no idea what it might be worth post Brexit, .
Cool bike and very desirable. I can imagine this fetching a very good price in a larger city where there is a good market for vintage bikes like this.

Nice bike!
It is a.1969 and the rear hub is built with a generator.
Being a ladies bike, has a lower value, 200...250$.
if it was a men's bike the value, in my opinion, should be 400$ and up.
