Bike Shop in Madison

Does anybody have a favorite bike shop in Madison? We ride road bikes. Thanks

I like the trek west store. I have purchased several bikes from them and have my bikes serviced there multiple times. Several times they advised me of repairs I didn't need.

Thank you for your response. Are you saying they tried to offer repairs that weren't needed? That doesn't sound very good.

No just the opposite. I thought I needed a new chain once and they advise me it was in good condition.

I think the wrenches at Machinery Row are very knowledgeable and ethical. I trust them over anywhere else in town.

But not so much for their ethics. Being way out in the boonies, they are sadly now "anything for a buck". Online sales must be very slow.

Thank you so much for recommending Machinery Row Bicycle. We are here in Madison. We brought our bikes and have been to Machinery Row a couple of times for repairs. They are great! Thank
