Haste makes Waste
I was in such a hurry to get out for my lunch time ride (weather is really nice in DC today) that I put on my bike shorts backward.
I didn't realize that until I came back and went to the locker for a shower. No wonder I kept thinking how the shorts were wearing differently today.

did you have to raise the seat to account for the 2 mm in change?

I forgot my shorts on the ride up to a 100K the night before. Had to borrow a pair of my wife's. Fortunately, she's not petite, but those babies were tight. Definitely a testament to the quality construction.

Does this not fall into the category of "I don't believe I'd a-told that"?

Fatcyclist has a great blog entry where he describes dressing half asleep to do a ride on the rollers while it's still dark out. What shortly follows is the terror and agony of accidentally putting his bibs on inside out and not realizing it until the pain set in.

She may have been wondering why her shorts suddenly felt stretched out and fit more loosely.

KRAMER: Well, I like yours.
JERRY: I don't know, my bathing suit? That's a little familiar, I don't want your...your boys down there.
KRAMER: C'mon, what's wrong with my boys?
JERRY: Your boys should stay in their neighborhood.

Well, it is Friday afternoon. Might as well share something funny for the BF members.
And to note: putting the shorts on did not affect my average speed

To be fair, if his boys hadn't already been in her neighborhood, that marriage has bigger problems.

And on a positive side, if you ever take up triathlons, you might be able to save 0.05 of a second in the transition area by not bothering to put your shorts on in the correct direction!
