Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Garmin Training Centre - Lost Data

Hi

Can anyone tell me the name and location of the data file where Garmin Training Centre stores all of its data (rides etc)

Formatted PC but have a backup. Just can't find the data on the backup

First go to My computer>>click on the C drive >> click on Tools >>Folder options >>View>> Mark "show hidden files and folders"

Next click on documents and settings >> all users >>application data >>garmin folder >>training centre >>make a backup of all these files in the folder

After re-installing training centre you need to copy all the files back into the folder

Depends on your operating system, but generally C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\GARMIN\Training Center and the files all end in .bin.
