Keep the wheels rollin' this September...Goals and mileage thread

I never did get in a century ride last month due to my work schedule and the weather, so I'm hoping to knock one out this month. Other than that I'm shooting for 400 miles this month.

Happy Labor day, and good luck this month everyone.

Well, in August I logged 576 miles, not including commute miles (no cell phones allowed where I work) which is ten miles round trip. Probably a total of 725 miles in August. I look to do at least half that in September, including my second century on the 13th.

I'm shooting for 300 miles this month. It's hard to say how much the weather will get in the way as I don't have any cold weather cycling gear and don't plan on buying any either.

Hi again everyone.
Been a while since I've been here, maybe a couple of years. Lots of changes since my last visit, but in the end, glad I'm back. Some of my most fun times have been on my bike and I miss it.
Going to start over again this month. My goal is 500 miles in September. I know it's high but I have a plan and I'm darn determined to get this weight off, and keep it off. I'm going to start a thread of my progress to keep me accountable.
Again, it's good to be back.
Peace everyone and I wish you nothing but the best in accomplishing your goals.
Eric

My goals for september are:
Ride 200 kms
Walk/Run 50 kms
Drop 4 lbs

I've been thinking about doing more exercise lately, especially the days I wouldn't be able to ride; and decided I'd try to run/jog. Started this morning with a 20 min session of 1 min intervals, followed by a walk back home.
Did 4.1 km

My August goal of 100 stopped at 52 due to crazy work and school schedules. So 110 miles for September. Started with a 12 mile ride this morning!

9/1 - 12 mi

MTD - 12 MI
GOAL: 100 MI

I'm in but I'm on my trainer pretty often, so 30 total hours is what I'm shooting for.

9/1 35.42 over a beautiful, rolling course this morning.

More of a mow lawn, walk the dogs and dieting kind of day. No riding today. Probably won't be commuting to work tomorrow, since I expect to walk a few high-energy miles there. I'll take the driving opportunity to bring the food that I need for the week: canned fish, fresh fruit, oatmeal and plain walnuts.

Goals for September are simple; 500 miles and 4 CX races with a finish above DFL.

Made my july goal of 250, august goal of 350, and now I'm shooting for 400.

Had a 32 mile ride set for 9/1 to get off to a good start and promptly broke a spoke and bent the wheel, so I only got 6 in. Now that I have a second bike though it wont put me out of commission for a week.

Driving to Vienna, OH on Friday for the start of a 8-9 day tour home to Philly on Friday. Don't know the exact mileage. Probably somewhere around 475. Then there is my annual MS 150 (actually 158 miles) at the end of September, plus an organized metric in between, and my usual commuting/errands riding, I am shooting for over 700. Two down. 698 to go.

I will ride over 300 miles this month. My stretch goal is 400 miles. My lunch rides are 13-15 miles so I'll need a bunch of those to get there. If I get on the bike a number of times and come anywhere close to 300 without longer rides I'll be happy.
