I'm a big Dave Kirk fan. Beautiful bikes.
Personally, I prefer the blingy polished stainless look to the brushed look, but they're all good.

Brushed hides flaws better. Maybe it's my love of ti, but I dig the simple brushed look.

Polishing it would take a while and look just great when done, however; polishing would destroy the original nature of the bicycle. Of course that is my opinion and I am a keep it as original as I can guy.

The problem with a polished finish is the same problem that I have with black anodization.
The first scratch sticks out like a sore thumb, subsequent ones make the bike look worse and worse.
A few decades ago we had a few customers at work that wanted a mirror finish stainless steel front bezel on the tools they were buying from us. We quoted them 5X the satin finish (2B for those in the know). They were always shocked at the price, until we explained to them that the yield on the part was low - one small scratch and we scraped them. Years later I was at one of those customer sites and saw them - and this is in a Class 1 cleanroom - and they were scratched up and looked like crap.

But... if a polished finish gets scratched, you can buff and scratch the scratch out. If you do that with a brushed finish, you'll end up with a partially polished frame, no?

Everything I've read about titanium frames is that the brushed finish is best because in case of a scratch, a quick buffing with a ScotchBrite pad makes the scratch disappear.
