I've looked at things like forks, and the prices can be pretty extreme, but it just seems a bit ambitious with the pricing.

My bike was stolen and ridden to the crook's house and then dismantled.
A few parts were recovered by the cops and I want to sell them altogether.
Bike was $2k new.
I didn't ride a lot and most of it was on bike paths, rarely off-road. And it was never ridden in the rain.
I'm done riding and want these remains out of of my house - it's depressing having them here.
It will go to the highest offer with $800 as the minimum (at least for now).

Just worth noting that the bike you have listed for $1500 is worth no more than $50-75, and was probably under $100 when new. It is a low-grade, "gaspipe" steel frame with low grade components.
FWIW Kent is on the same level as Huffy and Murray - department store bicycles.
Anyway, just hoping to provide some context to help actually make a sale.

This only qualifies for "The Wacky World..." because of its radically unconventional aesthetic. Personally I think it's supercool, even as it goes against everything I would ever do in terms of a build. And hey, it's not every day you see rattlesnake rims!
