Could you tell me what brakes are on your GF's Moulton?
I was thinking of putting calipers on my upcoming Moulton build, but those V brakes on your GF's bike look great.

that reminds me of the 1980s Raleigh Record racer. They were black and gold too.
would have saved a bit of brake cable weight if you'd mounted the v brake under the chainstays.
sometimes its difficult to get them away from the cranks when down there. But those Moultons have mile long chainstays.
The cables run under the bar tape, then down to the brake. doesnt look different to other road bikes how the cables go.

That's essentially my dream bike. I'm curious what kind of gearing you're running; it looks something like a 52 tooth chainring at the front and an 11-28 at the back? Also, have you been happy with the mini-Vs?

Gearing was 53/39T crank + 11-26T cassette. Now I put a single 50T chainring instead as we don't really have time for serious hill climbing.
And I intentionally chose mini-V brake because mini-V + STI lever provides tons of braking power with low gripping force. Main drawback is the brake setup (need a very tight clearance and very true rim) and mushy brake feel.
