Schwalbe Marathon Plus 700x25C Touring Tire & Velocity Dyad 700c 24mm Rim?

Hi There, thanks for your time in advance!

I have a Schwalbe Marathon Plus 700x25C Touring Tire and would like to use it on a Velocity Dyad 700c 24mm Wide Rim, for the front wheel.
My only concern is that the sidewalls will be at risk, and the better match may be a Schwalbe Marathon Plus 700x28C [which I already have on the rear wheel]. I like the 25c on front to reduce rolling resistance.

Please advise...

Cheers
Mike

Bike tires and rims are both pretty tolerant of "mis-matches". Your 700x25s should work fine on the 24 mm rims.

If you could actually measure/feel the rolling difference between those two tires.. that would be some feat IMO. Well understand the idea.. find myself doing same.

If you can trade it for a 28 go for it. Rolling resistance is not a signicant factor in the same tires of slightly different sizes.
