I just saw a beautiful and very clean, maybe unused, 1985 Centenario listed on the FB Steel is Real page, somewhere in Europe 7000eu

This looks good for $250, an '85 Vittoria, not sure about the 56cm part might be taller. https://denver.craigslist.org/bik/d/...946634776.html, not sure what is up with the fork though

I am also 5"5" and had a Sekai 2700 21" that I rebuilt for my commuter and after 2 to 3 months it was replaced with a ProTour 15 at 19.5" that I like much more.
Well, it is lighter too and have all eyelets for fender and racks .
To be honest, when riding the Sekai I always had that feeling that the bike was too big for me.

Kent Ohio (near Akron)

The part about "sew up tires and rims to go with it" caught my eye but can't tell if those are lawyer lips or eyelets on forks.

anyway

$150
"Peugeot bicycle 21" I was told that it was bought new in 1971. I have the sew up tires and rims to go with it. Its been sitting in my shed for 20+ yrs"

I do!

I recently picked up a (black) repainted and rebranded Ghibli masquerading as an "American Classic". I've a standing search on eBay for Rossin related items, but haven't checked in a few days due to work.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention!

Weird Waterford

Waterford 1250 frameset - $400 (Carrboro NC)

"Waterford 1250, 58cm frameset

I am the original owner. This is the 1998 "Sports Touring" model. Frame is constructed of Reynolds 753, with silver brazing on the lugs. The fork is Reynolds 531. Really nice condition! Everything is properly aligned and all threads are clean and functional. A beautiful ride.

The Campy Record headset (included) is new and recently installed. I will include the original documentation and Waterford brochures from that period, plus a bottle of original Waterford black touch-up paint.

The geometry of the 58cm (580mm) 1250 model can be found in the attached table among the photos."

https://raleigh.craigslist.org/bop/d...939378777.html

(What's "weird" to me, and has kept me for months from jumping all over this 753 frame, (as the ask has fallen), are the 531 forks.)

I wouldn’t worry so much about fork being a different tubeset from the frame. That’s not particularly uncommon and you’ll see 753 used in a lot of mix and match combinations. However I can’t see any fender eyelets on the fork and that does seem a little odd to me on a Waterford tourer, especially as there are some on the rear. I’d just ask seller if fork is original to frame.

Damn, for a bar, stem, SR seatpost and SR chainring that's a fantastic price. For pantographing, too? If I had a Rossin I'd snatch them up and thank my lucky stars for that deal
