You should already *have* the Patron, and probably more than one too. I have more tequila in the house than I could drink in a month of Cinco de Mayos, not that it's going to stop me from trying.

No fun rides this weekend, probably just SART to keep the muscles loose and maybe some laps of puddingstone. Fishing with the kids on Sunday.

You're right! I'm probably not doing my people right by having an empty bar.

Won't you be late?

I mean... the party started two years ago. Just saying. If it's still going, that sounds like a blast of a way to get there.

Tomorrow, (Friday), I'm making a run from Santa Clarita to the ocean in Ventura ... and back. It's a few tenths more than 100 miles. On Saturday is the "Tour de Palmdale", a 31-mile Poker Run as part of the Tour de California, (collect a playing card at each stop, and the one with the best hand at the end is the winner. The Big Bear stage of this years ToC starts about a mile from my house.

LOL, that's a good one. A 2 year old's birthday party. There, is that better?

On the other hand if a party has been going for two years, it must be a good party, no?

I've always wanted to do a full loop of the SART and SGRT. I've calculated it to be around 130 miles from my house in Fontana to Green RIver, PCH, Back up SGRT and then Foothill/Baseline all the way back home.

Are you doing something similar to this route ?

About 100 mi. For me at least, the hardest part is riding back to the OC...darn headwind! Bring on the tequila! OLE!

I did a SART/SGRT loop last month but since I started in Whittier, it was only 73 miles or so. https://app.strava.com/activities/6355046

Still, much better than an out-and-back route where you see the same stuff twice.

You might want to head up to Tustin ave -> Rose -> Birch -> (all the same road) State college (oops, I put these backwards but still), I think it's a little bike friendlier (you can see the route in the link I put up there). If you've already ridden that way and like Glassell then I retract my statement.

Will be joining indomikey on this ride apprehensively, since Baldy Village to Lifts with my 39/25 lowest gear is probably not the best idea for my first attempt up to the lifts haha

I saw the signs today, and one of the riders in my group was just being careless. They're the same "Peters Canyon Trail Work, July 2011, blah blah blah" signs that have been up for a long time. He just rode by them, and saw "trail closed," and assumed it was San Diego Creek Trail.

I made a short loop in Saugus to get a full century, then 126 to Fillmore, along South Mountain Road, to Telegraph and Seaward to the ocean. On the way back: Poli to Foothill to Santa Paula and then just 126 all the way back. Should have taken South Mountain Road between Santa Paula and Fillmore. The traffic on 126 is way, way heavy. It's not a safety issue as the out-of-traffic lane is quite wide, it is just very, very noisy. Didn't make for an enjoyable ride, at least on that segment.

https://app.strava.com/rides/7880492

Saw a bunch of cyclist on the road. Everyone is quite friendly out in Ventura county. I missed some riders because I had my head down and was not looking down the road. My neck started hurting after awhile. Looks like I'm going to have to get a pro fit on this bike.
