It's old and a bit rusty, it's not been repainted, it's not particularly beautiful, it doesn't have light fancy components, but it's one of my favorite bikes and I like it

Thank you. It was supposed to be functional first and foremost, but it turned out okay-looking too, which is just as well. I've reached that age at which I'd rather have 4 brake levers than rotten knees to stop. Not to mention, I ride pretty much exclusively on the freewheel sprocket nowadays; the fixed sprocket stays on the left-hand side for cosmetic purposes now. And the saddle is a comfy Brooks for soft bottoms... That bike screams "knackered old man" through and through

Fresh Garbage
You have no idea. I love teh sparkie paints
At the top of the hill outside of my apartment. ~11% most of the way, not very long but hard as hell without my clipless pedals
maybe this is a better perspective
now with mustache bars because this bike needs to be able to do more than just be a slow ass townie with awkward bars

I mean, it's for a bike that's probably gonna be just a slow-ass townie but should i have gotten the 'stache bars?

The problem with porteur bars is that you need a REALLY short stem with a LOT of rise in order for it to be comfortable. Most road bikes just aren't setup that way.
