2 trek bikes. One is complete but needs a tire repaired. Other is frame and componenets but no wheels or tires. Great deal. Components alone worth alot of money.

Mildly Bubba'd:

This is a 70's or maybe even late 60's peugot 10 speed that i have "converted"to a 6 speed, with a few updated and upgraded components. i ground the outer chainring into a chainguard as you can see in the pic. Rear wheel is aluminum with a firt generation shimano freehub and a brand new 6 speed casette. front wheel is steel. Brakes are Dia compe calipers with QR's and shimano 600 drilled levers replacing original mafac components. I put this bike together for a friend but i found somthing more suitable for him. the frame is about a 56cm,best for someone under 6 foot.

https://www.usedvictoria.com/classified-ad/10985138

I'm tempted to save it....

Any info on this bike? It's hard to find anything on Regina that doesn't have to do with freewheels. Looks like a nice bike:

FWIW I tried to nail that Ironman in Tampa, after Robbie provided some useful detail. I suspect he could tell you all about a given Centurion from the DNA on a single chainring bolt. MiamiJim was out of town so not available for the assist, and though the seller was willing, he sold it to a local buyer. Still, kind of a fun exercise in trying to arrange this-and-then-that-and-what-if. Next time for sure!

This guy Ron, a well known SS/FG builder here in Chicago, is selling a bunch of parts and frames. I'm kind of wetting myself over the Dura Ace cranks and Nitto Crystal Fellow track stem, and if I had any disposable income, I'd be emailing him instead of posting here. Here's a screen shot of his items for sale, as of about 1:30 am local time:

Here's a link to the search ('Division/Milwaukee' on Chicago Craigslist Bicycles)

The goodies will probably be gone before I get off work, so I probably won't be helpful in facilitating, I'm afraid.

MIYATA 1000 touring Bike

MID 80'S -MIYATA 1000 TOURING BIKE FOR SALE
It was purchased new..... 1988 model.. It has been garaged all these years...
the frame is 56/57cm . 18 speed
I believe the peddles were changed when it was first purchased. I have owned the bike for over 20 years and have never ridden it

It was and still is considered one of the best touring bike ever made . Has the original tires too..even the nubbies are still on the tires

Miyata is a major manufacturer, and made bikes for export under other names as well, notably Univega. Miyata even draws its own tubing, and pioneered triple butted tubing. The mid-80s Miyata 1000 was possibly the finest off-the-shelf touring bike available at the time.

Please email contact # if you are interested

For sale is an all-original, except for the tires, 25-inch 1989 Schwinn Prelude. This is a great bike to convert into a fixie or a flip flop.

Lugged Chrome-moly frame shows some signs of wear, but is in very good condition for a vintage bike. I'm the original owner. It's a large frame, perfect for those six-feet tall or taller.

It's a great bike, and wish I could convert it myself but I don't really have the time to do so.
