I like the looks of this one and the yellowing of the decals adds a bit of welcomed patina to me, looks lightly used too.
It is a "Fair" price for a chrome P if "all" original and no dents or flaking chrome, if it fits and you are interested bring cash and if you can negotiate the price down.... I have found that sellers will ofter bargain a little.
Best, Ben

I'm always amused by people asking full market value, who can't be bothered to take care of that last little detail. NEW BRAKE HOODS!!!

Any bike I buy needs an overhaul for the simple fact that I didn't do the last one on it yet, and that may be the lynch pin of the deal if the seller thinks it doesn't matter in the price.

Haha...Didn't notice the hoods. Doesn't look like it needs an overhaul, but that probably means they cleaned everything but the bearings.
Tires are scary though.

Priced a bit high for CL, but still probably a $1K+ bike. Chrome and decals look good.

Hell yeah, that's a survivor! Not a Paramount fan (for my own nit-picky reasons), but damn this one looks like it's wearing all-original clothing down to the tires.
Chrome and condition will prolly warrant a premium price to just the right buyer even now. I wonder in a year or two/three tho...

^^^ I am not sure but it might be that it is a P-15 (touring bike)... geometry may have changed form P-13 and others in the line-up.

No, it's a P13-9. It has no brazed on cable stops, no fender eyelets and the "Italian" bend fork introduced in 1972 make it a P13.

You have better eyes and monitor and more "P" info than I do...

I'll step up and take my lashings. That is my bike/listing. I was pretty surprised to see it here on BF.
I knew I was being optimistic with the pricing for C/L, but figured I'd give it a shot.
I have really been intending to post in C&V sales here (at different price), but just haven't done so yet. This C/L listing was a quick and dirty moonshot to see if I could sell locally. Not a nibble. I am sure nobody is shocked. Ultimately, I would prefer to keep it within the C&V family.
I did fail to mention in the listing that I have a pair of reproduction Campy world logo hoods I bought for the bike. I should add that bit of info. The original hoods were ruined and looked terrible. I removed them.
Also, I am fairly certain this bike is all original, so I have been reluctant to change anything at all. I think the next owner may be appreciative of this survivor condition and I do not want to take anything away from that. I don't even want to put on the replacement hoods.
BTW... there is a thread I started here in the appraisals forum a few months ago about this bike. Folks recommended giving her a better cleaning and removing the hoods, which were both done.
Hopefully I haven't committed a faux pas with this response, but I had to chime in when I saw my own C/L listing.

^^^ AT,
If you were pricing optimistically for a CL local sale, why not post it in the sales section with the price that you would be happy with in order to part with it.
GLWTS, Ben
BTW if you post it here I would only do a light clean and polish and perhaps a lube and let whoever buys it do the rest.

Well I of course chimed in here and there, got a little carried away here, sorry about that. You did as we recommended and promptly got a beatdown here, our/my bad. Looks good regardless, maybe could have gave us a headsup so we wouldn't step right in it even though it shouldn't have mattered, again sorry.
I finally got around to posting this in the C &V marketplace. I had been hoping to get the bike to a nicer spot to take better photos, but I was not able to carve out the time to do so.

Haha...look what I started. Oops. I just thought it was a cool bike in my area, and I know that there are Paramount folks on here. Hopefully it helped...!
Not much of anything fun on our local CL...this was an exception.

That's a beautiful piece of art that should be hanging on someones living room wall. $1200 sounds reasonable to me.
