Yeah, that’s a nice one. You might have a little trouble finding Suzzi decals if that’s a concern.
I had seen a Suzzi a couple years ago but couldn’t find the decals.

Never mind the fact that many have never done a correct fit with an accurate PBH/inseam measurement, it apparently being challenging to come by.

I mean, I started with a 52cm frame because it was given to me and I knew no better. And I still know guys close to or at my height that ride frames as tall or a few cm taller (with longer reach!), frames that large and that long that I go "nope!" It's all over the map, though I still contend there are still very general guidelines.

Had a buddy who was 6' 8" who had CoMotion build him a custom frame, I want to say 70cm, he used to call me and my 5' 11 Mr. Off the Rack. Ironically he later decided the frame was too big!

I feel ya. I have a co-worker who's a 6'6", thin, redhead. He doesn't appreciate being compared to a fireplace matchstick, however apt.

I'm 5'4", riding an 18" mtn. bike, so most people are tall to me, though I may have misstated in my original post; there was a rash of 60 cm bikes earlier, and I probably mixed them up. There's a nice Nashbar tourer (that's probably still too short) if you're interested.

I had a co-worker when I lived in Washington who was 6'7". Poor man had to duck through door frame in our old building. I can only imagine the size he would ride.

I have found that 6'5" is about the limit for most off the shelf frames as far as decent accommodation. I feel bad for those taller (for multiple practical reasons), but I do try to build cool super tall frames to sell (with modernized brakes and componentry, that look good), and those guys are almost always pumped about it.

Agreed. But then Italian race-bike builders in general aren't known for their stellar tandems.

That's the first Paramount tandem I've seen with that kink in the top tube. It's always been a straight (and usually level) line from the headtube to the stoker's seattube.

Had one of these pop up in ATL a month ago for $70. Still up, too. Compared a lot of other vintage steel Batavus made, it's a bit low-end looking to me, minus the styling on the head lugs. https://atlanta.craigslist.org/nat/b...995794596.html

Still can't figure out how to post images from the link, but this Centurion LeMans showed up in my FB marketplace listings. It's pretty rough but only $20...

For the Willamette Valley crowd, FB Market place Nashbar touring bike maybe built by GT? FWIW the poster did indicate that he had the seat post and saddle

Well, they have the child cranks so not sure about 1977 but the rear TT may have been built with a child in mind. Probably right up to about that point in time they would build em however you wanted.

Wish this was bigger, aside from shipping and normal albatross tandem thing, it's pretty nice.
