Yeah, that’s a nice one. You might have a little trouble finding Suzzi decals if that’s a concern.

The pedant in me asks, "What do you consider to be a tall human?" A group of roughly 55cm frames, to me as a 6'5" giraffe, says that the owner is of average stature. Some consider 60cm frames indicative of a tall rider, and I will silently say, "Keep adding to that." Then I meet some skyscraper of a man or a 73cm frame (there's a Co-Motion frameset at a LBS that's that tall) and think to myself, "I am an ant."

I mean, I started with a 52cm frame because it was given to me and I knew no better. And I still know guys close to or at my height that ride frames as tall or a few cm taller (with longer reach!), frames that large and that long that I go "nope!" It's all over the map, though I still contend there are still very general guidelines.

I'm 5'4", riding an 18" mtn. bike, so most people are tall to me, though I may have misstated in my original post; there was a rash of 60 cm bikes earlier, and I probably mixed them up. There's a nice Nashbar tourer (that's probably still too short) if you're interested.

I have found that 6'5" is about the limit for most off the shelf frames as far as decent accommodation. I feel bad for those taller (for multiple practical reasons), but I do try to build cool super tall frames to sell (with modernized brakes and componentry, that look good), and those guys are almost always pumped about it.

Big bad Batavus (Tour de L'Europe). $125 and a 25" frame. Bold and gold...er, copper.
