I rode one at whistler, but it was my first and only time riding a bike like that so really I dont have much to compare it to. It was super beefy and can definately handle freeride/dh

They're one of the best valued DH/FR bikes out there.

I tried the stinky of one of my friends and it's really smooth... never tried it on Dh or FR but I think it would be pretty good

They are good for how much they cost. But then again if you put another $500 into it yor could get something alot better.

I can't take their bicycle model names seriously. Not that they intend me to, but still.

My friend rides one and I've also ridden it around. It's a pretty sweet bike for the money. Its a bit heavy for trail riding but not impossible. It's really nice for FR and feels really stable in the air. It's pretty good for DH the only thing that I don't like about it for DH is that its a bit short so it get a bit unstable at high speed on technical stuff but really its not a big deal.

EDIT: Also I forgot to mention that the stinky has quite a bit of brake jake but that can be fixed by getting the D.O.P.E. system.

Depending where in Idaho you are (North Idaho?), if you are serious about one and can wait until fall, Silver Mountain blows out their fleet of rental Stinkys at season end. You can pick up a pretty good buy on one.

Why? What makes it a better bike?
