Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Yeeeeooowwwww!!!HomanaHomanaHomana!!!!!

I would just like to thank the dear Lord and the makers of Giant bicycles for the best afternoon I've had in the past 4 months!!!!!!! Got the OCR off the trainer, jumped into my gear and spent a couple of hours reminding myself why I LOVE THIS SPORT SO MUCH!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

What an AWESOME afternoon for riding in central Indiana!!!!!!

Can I get an AMEN?!

Hey Dewbert, where do you live? I rode yesterday but it looked bad today so I held up. I'm watching USA vs Japan so no riding for me...

I'm in Danville and it's a little ugly now, but was just amazing an hour or so ago. My ride included a spin through the bike/run trails in Plainfield and they were full of folks out enjoying the weather.

I'm in Clarksville and it's been pouring rain most of the day with lots of lightning. I live about 400 yards from the river and it's rushing and coffee colored. Well, cappucino colored.

I'm tempted to get the fixie out and nevermind the rain!

Man it's nice here now. I'm conflicted.....watch baseball or ride. The Japs are ahead so I'm sticking to the game.

BTW, I'm doing the RAIN too!

Northern Indiana too. I got 20 miles in before I met the rain and headed home. The temp was 61, overcast but only a gentle breeze. I rode in my shorts and a T shirt. Nice day for riding. It is the first ride since Fall that I have truly enjoyed.

It was awesome here in Atlanta. Low 80sF (28C) and plenty of sunshine.

I thought that should have been Hosannah.

Southern Georgia, 80+ degreees bright sunshine, glorious day on the bike. Just did 30 today, but it was fun. Actually felt a little faster. Maybe all those Spinervals this winter helped
